I have all black accessories (fish tank, TV stand, end tables, picture frames etc) and a bourbur cream-mix carpet. I was thinking a mocha light brown, that’s what I see a lot of on TV….what do you think? PS-It’s a tall room (10 ft ceilings) with 4 floor length windows, so a lot of light and has crown molding which I figured I would paint white. My current color is white.

I found some pretty cool stones, and I want to use them in my cichlid aquarium. They’re not porous, they’re slabs of rock.
Right now I have them soaking in boiling water, and a high concentration of aquarium salt.
Will they be safe in my aquarium after this?
I expect the hot water and salt to kill any microorganisms that may hard my fish.
I just hate paying for a dumb rock at the store. How do they prepare their rocks to be aquarium safe?

FAQ - Betta Fish »

Hi,
My Betta fish is lonely… I just bought him from a pet store in which he was in a tank with plenty of other fish. I believe some of them were Darios, Tetra etc. I want a fish that has the same requirements as him, but one that he won’t maul. Please help! He’s depressed…
Thank you!

My pet betta fish named Roger…but my sister calls him Lloyd. We need more aquarium decorations for him, but our local pet stores have really bad ones. Obviously, my favorite decorations at the moment are Spongebob’s Pineapple, and Squidward’s Easter Island Head. Need more fake plants and maybe a treasure chest or sunken ship. Definitely more fake plants though. If you’re going to comment about live plants, they’re messy, and require more frequent water changes…something I just don’t want to invest my time into.
